If the battery's needed 3 gallons of distilled water they are Toast, buy new ones.

After i topped them up with 3 gallons of DW almost a year ago, they have been running great. They have hardly ever ran low.
I just topped them up again last night with 1.5 gallons and charged them over night 14v. lets see how they perform now. thx
